Information We Collect
For customers and website users, we may collect name, mobile number, email address, booking details, pickup and drop locations, browser type, device information, referring URL, visited pages, and time of access.
For SKG Driver app users, we may collect driver name, phone number, email address, gender, date of birth, profile details, vehicle details, driving license details, Aadhaar or identity details, uploaded identity or vehicle document images, payment or UPI details, device identifiers, Firebase notification token, trip details, ride status, support tickets, chat messages, and location data.
Location Data for SKG Driver App
The SKG Driver app collects and transmits driver location data to enable live driver tracking, ride assignment, trip monitoring, navigation, customer/admin ride coordination, safety support, and estimated arrival time.
The app may collect location data while the driver is online, during an active trip, and in the background even when the app is closed or not in use.
Driver location may be shared with SKG Travel admin/dispatch teams and customers for ride coordination, trip tracking, support, and safety purposes.
We do not sell driver location data and we do not use driver location data for advertising.
Camera, Calls, and Notifications
The SKG Driver app may request camera access when a driver chooses to take or upload photos for driver verification, identity verification, vehicle verification, profile updates, or support purposes.
Drivers may upload identity documents, driving license images, Aadhaar or identity document images, vehicle documents, vehicle number plate images, vehicle images, and profile images. These files are used for account verification, compliance, driver approval, fraud prevention, support, and service safety.
The SKG Driver app may request phone call permission when a driver chooses to contact support or another relevant service contact from within the app. This permission is used only to start a call when the driver taps a call button.
The SKG Driver app may use Firebase notification tokens and push notifications to send ride requests, trip updates, account alerts, support messages, payment updates, and other service-related notifications.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to create and manage accounts, verify drivers, process ride bookings, assign drivers to rides, provide navigation and trip updates, calculate fares, process payments or payouts, provide customer and driver support, send notifications, enable chat or support communication, improve our services, prevent fraud or misuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain internal records.
Payments and Payouts
We may collect and use payment-related information, payment status, payment mode, UPI ID, payout details, fare details, wallet details, and transaction information to process rides, payouts, refunds, account records, and payment support.
Support, Tickets, and Chat
When users or drivers contact us, we may collect support ticket details, chat messages, issue descriptions, contact information, and related ride or account details to respond to requests, resolve issues, and improve service quality.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.
Data Security
We use reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
User Choices and Data Deletion
Users and drivers may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or regulatory reasons.
Drivers may disable location permission from device settings. However, SKG Driver app features such as ride assignment, live tracking, navigation, trip monitoring, and estimated arrival time may not work properly without location access.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
